Early afternoon rains gave way to a partly sunny, though windy, afternoon for our 10th annual Military Tribute Concert at the Iowa State Fair in 2023! And we were so thankful for another meaningful event to honor our US military active members and veterans!
A 70-voice choir, 45-instrument orchestra, and 20-voice children's choir sang and played a variety of military songs, including some favorites that the audience could sing along to. One of our favorites is the "Armed Forces Medley", where we honor all of the attending veterans by playing each Branch's theme song. Then we closed with "Let Freedom Ring!"
